General Overview
The LINSEIS dilatometer L75/120LT is designed to measure the expansion of polymer samples, accommodating up to 8 samples simultaneously within a temperature range of -40°C to +160°C. It utilizes a climate chamber with a cooling generator and heat source, ensuring an airtight environment to prevent humidity intrusion.

Instrument Description
The instrument allows for inert gas insertion and uses 4 type K thermocouples for temperature measurement, providing a comprehensive temperature profile. Sample length changes due to temperature variations are measured using a high-resolution LVDT sensor. The system supports polymer samples of 80 to 100mm in length and cross-sections of 4 x 10mm to 15 x 15mm.

Measurement System
The measuring system, made of quartz with a negligible expansion coefficient, ensures accurate measurements. Calibration standards can be used for high precision. The system's piston is motor-adjustable for different sample lengths, and zero adjustment is facilitated by an invar thread. Sample changes are simplified by a motor-operated excenter.

Software Features
The PC-controlled software, compatible with Microsoft® Windows®, includes modules for data acquisition and evaluation. Key features include data security, repetition measurements, curve comparison, data export/import, report generation, and multi-method analysis. It also offers programmable gas control and statistical evaluation.
