Product catalog summary
Overview of MagSpring®
MagSpring® is a type of magnetic spring that provides a constant force over a wide working range, unlike traditional mechanical springs. It consists of two main components: a stator and a slider, and operates entirely on permanent magnets without the need for electricity.

Functionality
The MagSpring® functions by utilizing a unique design of magnets and iron to deliver a constant force. It is passive and does not require electricity or compressed air. The force is consistent over the working range, with a tolerance of +/-10% of the nominal force due to material and production variances.

Applications
1. Vertical Applications: Used to compensate for the weight of payloads, allowing smaller motors to be used.
2. Horizontal Applications: Assists linear motors in one direction, enabling the use of smaller motors.
3. Power Loss Situations: Can raise, hold, or lower payloads more slowly depending on sizing.

Working Stroke
When unloaded, the slider is positioned in the middle of the stator. The slider can be moved in both directions, with the force increasing from zero to the nominal force in a non-linear fashion before reaching a constant force.

Technical Specifications
MagSpring® is available in different models with varying lengths, diameters, and masses. The stator casing is made of steel with Ni plating, and the bearing is based on POM (Delrin®).

Figures and Diagrams
Figures illustrate the assembly and application of MagSpring® in various setups, such as with linear motors and guidance systems. They demonstrate the constant force application and safety features in case of power loss.

Ordering Information
Details on part numbers, dimensions, and materials for different MagSpring® models are provided, including options for mounting and adapters.

Contact Information
MagSpring® products are distributed worldwide, with contact details provided for Europe/Asia and North America.

MagSprings > are used to provide either an assisting or a resisting constant force. In vertical applications particularly , MagSprings > Working stroke If the MagSpring are used to compensate for the weight of payloads being raised, thus allowing the use of smaller motors. In horizontal applications, MagSprings > is unloaded the slider is about in the middle of the stator. Thereby the called working end of the slider sticks a little bit more out of the stator than the other end of the slider. (Note that a payload can be fixed on both ends of the slider). Starting from this unbend position the...
