MagSpring Weightlessness in your application When installed vertically, linear motors and other direct drives must apply a constant force to counteract the force of gravity. This is exactly why LinMot has developed the «Magnetic Spring» MagSpring. Mounted parallel to the linear motor, the weight force can be passively compensated via the MagSpring.
