The PVXM Series by ATEC Co., Ltd. is a positioning support unit designed for precise workpiece positioning in manufacturing processes. The unit allows the top plate to slide freely in any horizontal direction, facilitating smooth positioning without dust generation. It automatically returns to its original position when the load is removed. The series includes models with locking mechanisms, built-in air cylinders, and configurations for downward-facing applications.
- Recommended Load Capacity: 98N (10kgf) to 29,400N (3,000kgf)
- Horizontal Stroke: Maximum ±50mm
- Use Direction: Upward
- Pressure Range: 0.2MPa - 0.7MPa
- Temperature Range: 0 - 60°C
The PVXM Series supports workpieces with uneven surfaces, allowing 360° horizontal movement. It is suitable for space-saving applications, including cleanroom environments. The unit offers customization options and a compact design, reducing costs and improving accuracy. A new mechanism enhances return-to-origin accuracy and reduces particle dispersion.
- Follow ISO 4414 and JIS B 8370 safety regulations.
- Not suitable for high-safety applications like medical instruments.
- Avoid water exposure and ensure proper piping and air supply.
- Perform maintenance with no residual pressure.
- Store in a plastic bag to prevent dust exposure.
- Ensure level mounting to prevent air leakage and malfunction.
- Protect from water, oil, and dust exposure.
- Use without lubrication to avoid malfunction.
- Perform center lock while stationary to prevent damage.
The warranty is one year from shipment or 1,000,000 locking operations. ATEC is not liable for damages from misuse or beyond specified conditions. Manufacturer maintenance is required, and disassembly voids the warranty.

Centering Unit About Centering Unit The PVXM Series is a specialized positioning unit that allows workpieces with uneven bottom surfaces to be positioned freely in any horizontal direction (360°) while supporting their weight. Typically, four or more units are used together to support a single workpiece.
