Manual Clutch Durability Test Machine Model 2909

Manual Clutch Durability Test Machine Model 2909

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Model 2909 Clutch Durability Test Machine is designed to evaluate manual clutch wear under various operating conditions. It provides accelerated results for clutch durability over shorter periods and allows real-time observation of characteristics such as wear, slip, travel, and engagement time.
Specifications: The machine features programmable controls via ProLink interactive software, enabling easy establishment of test variables and data output formats. It supports a speed range of 0-4000 rpm, an input drive of 140 hp, and an input torque of 400 ft-lb. The stroke velocity is 20 inches/second with a stroke force of 300 lb.
Features: Key features include a fully automated process with ProLink software, precision alignment on a T-slot bed, user-specified controlled clutch actuation, temperature-controlled clutch housing, and cooling air with flow control. The machine also allows 'on the fly' component wear measurement.
Functionality: The machine can use a complimentary designed bell housing or a simulated housing for test mounting. The clutch, disc, and flywheel are mounted as they would be in a vehicle, brought to operating velocity, and cycled repeatedly to monitor characteristics such as disc wear, clutch travel, engagement/disengagement load, torque, speed, and stroke.

Manual Clutch Durability Test Machine Model 2909-1

Manual Clutch Durability Test Machine Model 2909 The Model 2909 Clutch Durability Test Machine is used to measure manual clutch wear over extended operating conditions. Accelerated results of clutch durability may be examined over shorter periods of time and under extreme or typical operating conditions. Characteristics such as wear, slip, travel and engagement time may be viewed in real time. Programmable controls using ProLink interactive software allow the operator an easy method to establish test variables and output data formats. The machine employs the complimentary designed bell housing or can accommodate a simulated housing as a fixture of test mounting. The clutch, disc and flywheel are mounted as, in vehicle. The assembly can then be brought to operating velocity and repeatedly cycled to monitor key characteristics over time. Some key observation features are: disc wear, clutch travel, engagement/disengagement load, torque, speed and stroke.
