Link Engineering Company www.linkeng.com Brake Functionality Test Stand Model 2636 The Model 2636 Brake Functionality Test Stand is a versatile system that can perform a number of performance and durability tests of automotive brake components. The test stand uses an hydraulic pumping unit for durability testing and an electric brake apply for high pressure (burst) testing. The Model 2636 Brake Functionality Test Stand can also perform tests for piston roll back and piston knock back in automotive brake calipers. The tests are performed by applying fluid pressure to the brake caliper simulating service conditions and measuring movement of the brake piston. Features When the fluid pressure is released, the natural rollback of the piston can be measured. During knock back testing, a force may be applied directly to the piston by a linear actuator in order to stimulate additional piston movement.
