This Boot is Designed to protect. Linemaster recently introduced a protective vinyl cover that can be applied over our Clipper foot switch models (Not the Wide Treadle Versions). This boot is available only in bright orange and provides additional protection to the foot switch from limited amounts of liquid, dust, dirt, mud, and snow. since the boot covers most of the switch, it helps prevent materials from entering the housing, where the electrical snap switch (or air valve) is mounted. If the foot switches in your application are subjected to this type of environment, you may wish to offer the boot as an option, or as a standard feature.
