EXCELLENT WELDING PERFORMANCE Selectable Wave Type and Half Wave Shapes With the Invertec® V311 -T AC/DC, not only can you choose Sine, Square or Triangular AC wave types, but you can also independently assign one of those wave types to the positive and negative portions of the wave shape. Here's an example: You can assign a square wave to the positive half of the wave shape to minimize high peak currents that can erode the tungsten.
