The 32 TT fast-erecting crane

The 32 TT fast-erecting crane

Product catalog summary
Overview: The document provides a detailed description of the 32 TT fast-erecting crane, highlighting its multifunctionality, innovative technology, and economic benefits. It also discusses the 32 TTR variant, which is equipped with a crawler-track undercarriage for enhanced mobility on difficult terrains.
Specifications: The crane features a multifunctional trolley with automatic rail-gauge changeover and re-reeving capabilities. It offers options for double-reeved or double-quadruple-reeved configurations. The hoist gear is available in 11.0 kW with either pole-changing or frequency converter options. The EDC slewing gear is standard, with power ratings of 2.2 kW for the 32 TT and 3.0 kW for the 32 TTR. The trolley travel gear drive ranges from 2.6 to 3.5 kW.
Design and Mobility: The crane's compact design ensures low ground contact pressure and excellent off-road mobility. It can be rapidly relocated with full ballast, making it highly adaptable to various construction site conditions. The 32 TTR variant offers additional benefits with its crawler-track undercarriage, providing outstanding mobility and economy.
Performance Features: The crane's double telescoping action allows both the tower and jib to be extended and retracted to suit different operational needs. The jib offers seven different lengths, adjustable in two-meter intervals, and can be positioned horizontally or at an angle. The load moment increases by over 10% with each retraction step, optimizing load capacity.
Erecting and Operation: The crane is designed for quick and easy erection, with an innovative linkage system that allows one person to prepare it for operation in about 30 minutes. The patented ballasting system and semi-automatic ballasting tongs simplify the ballasting process. The crane is equipped with separate drives for hoisting and erecting winches, and the EDC slewing gear provides smooth, jolt-free movements.
Additional Features: The multifunctional trolley automatically adjusts its gauge and halts for jib extension. The crane's control system includes electronic wind-load regulation and automatic damping to prevent load oscillation. The document emphasizes the crane's versatility, cost-effectiveness, and ability to handle a wide range of tasks that would typically require multiple cranes.

1 Double telescoping action. Varying the length of the jib. The jib of the 32 TT offers seven different jib lengths and can be positioned at two-metre extension intervals to provide a fixed working radius. This is possible both with the jib horizontal or when it is raised to an angle. Working from the control panel, the jib is simply run out to the desired length, using the trolley travel motor, and locked automatically. Load moment to suit the task in hand. Each of the jib length settings has its own load moment curve. As the jib is retracted step by step, the usable load moment goes up each...

2 Adaptability means cost effectiveness. The innovative 32 TT design principle makes this crane exceptionally versatile. For use on difficult terrain, this crane is also available on crawler tracks as 32 TTR providing you with a wealth of benefits on the building site. The 32 TTR with crawler-track undercarriage is noted for its outstanding mobility and therefore its exceptional economy. Soil pressure is only 12 N/sq. cm in transport position and 21 N/sq. cm in service. Maximum travel speed is 25 m/min with a drive rating of 22 kW. With the tower retracted, this crane is ready for operation immediately...

3 Unbelievably easy to erect. Erecting is so simple. The TT crane can be erected quickly and easily from the transport position. The erecting linkage is operated conveniently from the control panel, and the TT crane unfolds automatically. The TT crane uses its erecting winch and two double guide arms to reach the vertical position – a completely new sequence of erecting movements. When the tower is erected – but not yet extended telescopically – the jib has already moved out to the working position. An innovative ballasting technique. Complete and ready to operate. The erecting winch gives the...

4 Powerful drive systems. Hoisting and erecting winches. The hoisting and erecting winches have separate drives. As an optional extra, a hoist gear with frequency converter is available for continuous speed control between 0 and 50 m/min. The EDC slewing gear. The patented EDC slewing gear is another standard feature of the 32 TT crane. Its electronic control system permits extremely sensitive, jolt-free slewing movements. Continuously variable working speeds, electronic wind-load regulation, automatic damping to prevent load oscillation and peak moment limiting to prevent excessive strain on...
