DESCRIPTION: This cartridge seal has a cast iron gasketed flange for replacing braided packing in pumps. The springs are protected from the product to prevent blocking in applications with particle-laden fluids. The flange has two connections, a flushing connection for cleaning and cooling the contact surfaces, and a drain connection that enables the springs to be cleaned and controls minor leaks.
