ROLL PINS AND BUSHINGS We offer support bushings and roll pins custom-made from strip materials in many different material types and alloys. There are some major advantages compared to closed turned bushings and hollow pins: » Spring locking – reduces stress levels on surrounding material at assembly. » The spring function in our hollow pins offer a degree of flexibility allowing wider tolerances to be used for their mating parts improving assembly accuracy. » Cost – lean processes and a minimal use of material affords roll pins as one of the most cost effective solutions available. » Low environmental impact – manufacturing from steel strip yields excellent material usage and reduces waste to almost zero. “Bushings are mainly used to increase strength in screw joints for i.e. plastic components.
