Requirements

The SDK can be installed on any Linux distribution with standard services like DHCP server, Network File System Server (NFS), and TFTP server.
The GNU tool chain can be integrated with the ECLIPSE platform and CDT plugin to form a complete Integrated Development Environment (IDE) at no cost.

Supplied Hardware

All hardware platforms are based on the Marvell PXA255 @ 400 MHz, with 32 MB SDRAM, 16 MB Flash, and a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet Controller (LAN91C111).

Supplied Software on CD-ROM

Includes a full SDK installation utility, a comprehensive manual for configuration, hardware technical manual, documentation for device drivers, libraries, and system utilities, "Quickstart" guides, application examples, and source code for all features.

Development Model

Use ECLIPSE to edit, compile, and remotely debug applications on the hardware platform via Ethernet connection.
Download the final application to the hardware platform using FTP.
Customize startup scripts to automatically launch applications at system startup.
