Product catalog summary
Introduction
The document introduces the Lee IMH Chek™ Valve, a 4.5mm miniature cartridge-style check valve designed for installation into plastics. It is constructed entirely of stainless steel, ensuring compatibility with various fluids and gases. The valve's compact size allows for space and weight optimization in system designs.

Specifications
- Material: Stainless Steel (Body, Cage, Ball, and Spring)
- Lohm Rate: 250 Lohms
- Leakage: 20 sccm/min (max) at 172 kPa (25 psid) on air; 1 Drop/min (max) on water
- Dimensions: All dimensions are in millimeters unless noted otherwise.

Design Features
- Press-in Design: Allows for simple installation
- Miniature Size: Saves space and weight
- Bidirectional Installation: Provides forward or reverse flow capabilities
- 100% Tested: Ensures consistent long-term performance

Performance and Installation
The valve is designed for easy press-in installation into plastics with sufficient elongation such as Nylon, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Acetal, and PEEK. It is not suitable for metal installations. The valve can be installed in either direction, offering design flexibility for forward or reverse flow. Specific installation tools are available for each flow orientation.

Flow and Pressure Data
The document provides a detailed flow curve for water at 80°F (27°C) and lists various part numbers with corresponding cracking pressures ranging from 0 kPa to 625 kPa.

Lohm Laws
The document explains the Lohm system, a method for defining fluid resistance in hydraulic components, similar to Ohms in electrical systems. Lohms account for flow resistance, compensating for discharge coefficients and dimensional tolerances.

Liquid Flow Formula
Formulas are provided to extend Lohm laws to various liquids, considering density and viscosity. These formulas are applicable across a wide range of pressure conditions, with a units constant (K) to simplify conversions.

Conclusion
The Lee IMH Chek™ Valve offers a robust, space-saving solution for fluid control in plastic installations, with comprehensive testing and flexible installation options ensuring reliable performance.
