CATCH-ALL™ FLANGE MOUNT SAFETY SCREENS

Product catalog summary
Overview
The document is a product data sheet for The Lee Company's Catch-All™ Flange Mount Safety Screens. These screens are designed for fine filtration with a nominal hole size rating of 20 microns, providing protection for critical components with small flow passageways.

Materials and Construction
The screens are constructed from 316L stainless steel, ensuring durability and strength. They feature a seamless, one-piece design with radial convolutions to increase contamination carrying capacity. The screens are manufactured using a proprietary process and are precision cleaned and packaged before shipment.

Specifications
- Material: 316L CRES, ASTM A 478-97 for the screen, ASTM A 666 or AMS 5653 for the base washer, and Silver Alloy AMS 4765 for the braze.
- Hole Size: 0.0008 inches (20 microns)
- Available Sizes: Eight sizes ranging from 0.130" to 0.656" in diameter.
- Burst Pressure: Ranges from 450 psid to 13 psid depending on the part number.
- Collapse Pressure: Ranges from 2000 psid to 100 psid depending on the part number.

Performance and Ratings
The screens have a high resistance to blockage (ROB) factor, which indicates their ability to resist clogging. The Lohm rate, a measure of flow resistance, varies across different models, allowing for flexibility in design and application.

Recommendations
Due to the fine micron rating, adequate system filtration is necessary to prevent premature clogging. The installation method should be chosen to avoid contamination bypassing the installed screen.
