Clinching System CLINCHING TECNIQUE ADVANTAGES ☺Quick assembly execution ☺ Stainless steel sheets assembly - Similar to spot welding - Faster than rivetting - Quicker than screw fastaning (even self tapping) - Not as heavy as in other technologies. ☺Low tooling costs - Less costly than other technoligies - Pre-drilling elimination ☺ High efficiency - The high operating speed added to what above said, enable to achieve considerable cost savings. - Does not need any preparation ☺ No harmful fumes - Cold process without fumes emission. ☺ Assembly of pre-painted sheets. - Not possible in spot welded assemblies. ☺ Sheets of different materials can be assembled - Example: copper + aluminium + zinc plated sheets etc. ☺ Very reduced tooling sizes - Not as bulky as in other technologies. ☺ Good resistance of the assembly. - Approx. 70% of welding. ☺ Excellent handling - This is due to the weight and sizes reduction in respect of other technologies.
