Product catalog summary
Installation
Prepare the surface for mechanical installation using the provided template for the bracket. Ensure the sensor is aligned to face north. Route the cable to the display or datalogger, avoiding areas with potential electromagnetic interference.
Technical Specifications
The SONIC-ANEMO-SDI sensor measures wind speeds from 0.25 to 40 m/s with a resolution of 0.1 m/s and sensitivity of 0.13 m/s. It operates independently of weather conditions, with a wind direction range of 0-359° and a resolution of 1°. The sensor communicates via SDI-12 V1.3 and requires a power supply of 3 V to 35 V DC, consuming an average of 2.9 mA. It is designed to operate in temperatures from -15°C to +55°C and is rated IP67 for environmental protection.
SDI-12 Protocol
The sensor supports SDI-12 version 1.3, with a baud rate of 1200. It provides data on average, minimum, and maximum wind speeds and directions over a 10-minute period, along with software version and serial number. The protocol includes commands for address queries, sending identification, changing addresses, and starting verification.
Dimensions
The sensor has a cylindrical shape with a diameter of 64 mm and a height of 61 mm. The standard cable length is 25 m, and the sensor's total weight with arm and base is 200 grams.
Warranty
The product is warranted against manufacturing defects for two years from the purchase date. LCJ Capteurs will repair or replace faulty products at their discretion, excluding shipping costs. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and must be submitted in writing.
