Product catalog summary
Installation
Prepare the mast head for mechanical installation using the provided template for the bracket's screwing. Align the bracket so the CV7-OEM sensor faces the bow while the mast aligns with the boat's midline. Fine alignment is achieved through software calibration. Ensure the cable is routed to avoid electromagnetic interference.

Wind Sensor Alignment and Configuration
The CV7-OEM is pre-configured with NMEA0183, a 2-second filtering, wind force in knots, temperature in Celsius, and a wind angle adjustment of 0°. Configuration changes can be made using downloadable software from the LCJ Capteurs website. Power supply connections require 12V (3 to 30 VDC) with specific wiring for NMEA 0183 standard input.

Technical Specifications
The sensor measures wind speeds from 0.25 to 40 m/s with a resolution of 0.1 m/s and sensitivity of 0.13 m/s. It operates independently of weather conditions, with a wind direction range of 0-359° and a resolution of 1°. Power requirements are 8V to 33V DC with a consumption of 9 mA. The sensor is IP67 rated and operates between -15°C to +55°C.

NMEA0183 Protocol
The protocol operates at a baud rate of 4800 with 8 data bits, no parity, and 1 stop bit. Data is transmitted every 512 milliseconds with variable length fields. Sentences start with '$' and end with CR,LF. Voltage outputs are 0 or 5V.

Warranty
The CV7-OEM comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. LCJ Capteurs will repair or replace faulty products at their discretion, excluding shipping costs. Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims, which must be made in writing.
