OverviewThe FiberTower™ series represents the latest generation of Fiber Laser Material Processing Systems, designed for Direct Parts Marking, UID, and Deep Engraving. These systems are compact, industrial-grade, and mid-sized, offering advanced capabilities in laser marking and engraving.
Specifications and FeaturesThe systems include various models such as MegaCenter, XP Plus, XP, and XP Compact Desktop. They feature Q-Switched Fiber Lasers with energy outputs ranging from 0.5mJ to 2.0mJ at different frequencies, and CW Fiber Lasers with 50 Watts power. The systems are equipped with F-Theta Scanning Lenses of varying focal lengths and optional beam expanders. Additional features include manual and programmable Z-Axis adjustments, rotary tables, and X-Y tables for extended marking areas.
Safety and ComplianceThe FiberTower™ series complies with 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11, classified as Class 1 laser products. Safety features include a redundantly switched safety interlock system, manual reset, key-locked power switch, remote interlock connector, and emission indicators with delay settings.
Cost EfficiencyThe systems promise a 100% ROI within a year compared to traditional YAG systems, using significantly less power and offering the fastest marking speed in the industry. They require no consumables or water cooling and provide maintenance-free operation for at least 10 years.
Software and MaterialsThe FiberScan C3™ software offers integrated driver support and precision. The systems can mark all metals, non-transparent plastics, and most non-metals.
ApplicationsIndustries served include Direct Part Marking, Flat Panel Display, Metal Fabrication, Sign Fabrication, Semiconductor, Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, and Tooling. Marking types include lot, date, OCR codes, UID, serial numbers, inventory tracking, graphics, logos, 2D symbologies, linear barcodes, and engraving.
