In these circumstances, conven onal pick and place automa on o en doesn’t work well or is prohibi vely expensive. The ProﬁtPack gives the operator control of the en re system. The ProﬁtPack is perfect for these situa ons. It uses collabora ve automa on to do what machines do best automa cally erec ng and sealing cases on demand - and leaves what people do best to the operator exercising expert human judgment. This op mal combina on of machines and people ensure products meet quality standards and are handled and packed properly in their cases. The case erector makes properly formed, square cases and automa cally delivers them to the pack sta on. The operator inspects the products, places them in the case, and releases the case to the sealing unit, which closes and seals the case’s top ﬂaps. Square Case Erecting After picking up the blank from the magazine until the release of the erected and bottom sealed case, the case is held in a square position. Precise Case Positioning Integrated product conveyor infeed belt with variable frequency speed control transports the products to the hand packing station. Square Case Sealing Spring loaded side belts take over the case. The top flaps are closed and sealed and a square case is delivered.
