Lantech.com has developed a super range of lid forming / applicating machines whereby a lid is formed on a forming head and then placed by the erecting-frame onto the tray-case. The LF-1000 is a compact two station lid forming / applicating machine with a maximum capacity of 10 lids per minute. The LF-2000 is a fast four station lid forming machine with a maximum of 18 lids per minute. The LF-1000 can handle blanks of E or B flute quality. The LF-2000 can also handle solid board blanks. Both machines uses the unique Lantech.com method of forming and applicating a lid. The lid is formed on a forming head where the flaps are glued. The formed lid is then moved down by the erecting frame that positions the lid with special “shoehorn type fingers” onto the tray-case. Patent pending.
