Functional Principle: Chips containing coolant are fed into the infeed hopper. A dosing screw continuously leads the chips into the pressing chamber, where a high-pressure cylinder compresses them into briquettes, extracting the coolant. An optional chip crusher with automatic tramp metal ejector processes long and woolly chips. The multipress execution allows pressing different materials with varying pressure configurations.
