Materials and Specifications
Components such as safety rings, screws, and bearings are made from case-hardening alloy steel, which is case-hardened and tempered. The minimum core strength is 880 N/mm², with a surface hardness of Rc 57 to 60. Taper tolerance is Grade AT3.
Toolholders and Adapters- Universal Arbors: Suitable for milling cutters with longitudinal or tenon drive (DIN 138).
- Reducing Adapters: For tanged Morse taper tools (DIN 228-B) or threaded Morse taper tools (DIN 228-A).
- Basic Adapters for Modular Tooling: Interchangeable with the C.O. system.
- Collet Chucks: Available for DIN 6388 and DIN 6499 (ER type) collets.
- Weldon and Whistle-Notch Holders: Designed for end mills with shank DIN 1835-B/E.
- Short Drill Chucks: Integral design for specific tool sizes.
- Quick-Change Tapping Chucks: Feature self-feed and compression systems, compatible with BILZ system tap adapters.
Technical Tolerances
Maximum circular deviation between components is specified, ensuring high precision in machining processes.
