Modern Camera System with Laetus lighting systems cover almost all application areas due to a wide selection of lighting types and provide ideal conditions for demanding image processing tasks. Optimized for use on packaging machines, the cameras are protected against uncontrolled access and their designs simplify format changes on the machine. The different variations allow adaptation to almost any application and inspection area. The use of LED technology results in lighting units that are maintenance-free and have a very long service life. These properties guarantee a cost-effective operation. The new eLED technology stands for : • software controlled functions (LED color, intensity, adjustment help) • embedded compact lens with mechanical focus adjustment from 2 sides • optimized for reading distances from 40mm to 200mm • increased applcation felxibility due to two-colored LED (white/red) - UV version coming soon • integrated optical filters • flash frequency up to 100Hz • very homogeneous and stable illumination even at high flash frequencies • alignment LEDs as setup aid • higher protection class IP65 (depending on camera) • easy retrofitting
