W3/330 Water Vapor Transmission Rate Test System

Procedures
The test specimen is placed in a diffusion cell divided into a dry and a controlled-humidity chamber. Dry nitrogen sweeps the dry side, carrying water vapor permeating through the specimen to an electrolytic sensor, which generates electrical signals to calculate the water vapor transmission rate.
Standards and Applications
The instrument complies with standards such as ISO 15106-3 and GB/T 21529. It is applicable to a wide range of materials, including films, sheeting, paper, packages, and more. Extended applications include testing package caps, LCD monitor films, solar back-sheets, and plastic packages for drugs.
Efficiency and Intelligence
The W3/330 system integrates three diffusion cells, enhancing test efficiency by three times. It can connect with up to nine satellite bases for simultaneous testing of up to 30 specimens. The system uses Labthink's latest software for user-friendly operation and supports the Lystem™ Lab Data Sharing System for efficient data management.
Technical Specifications
The system requires high purity nitrogen as a carrier gas, with a flow rate of 100 mL/min and pressure of ≥0.28 MPa. It operates on AC power supply and has a net weight of 70 kg. Standard configurations include the mainframe, software, and various accessories, with optional parts available for customization.
