You can of course use it to test glass containers. The test procedure is as follow: 1. Prepare the Test: Fill the vacuum chamber with water and secure the glass container(s) on the fixture, ensuring they're submerged and at least 25mm from the water surface. You can test multiple containers at once. 2. Apply Vacuum: Seal the chamber, and set the vacuum level between 20kPa and 90kPa (considering container characteristics and standards). Maintain the vacuum for 30 seconds. 3. Inspect for Leaks: Look for bubbles emerging from the container(s) during the vacuum hold. Five consecutive bubbles indicate leakage, while a single bubble is considered insignificant. 4. Release and Check: Refill the chamber with air (automatic by the tester), open the chamber, remove the container(s), and wipe off any water. Finally, visually inspect the container(s) for water infiltration to confirm a proper seal. C660B can also be used for other packaging materials beyond glass.
