Testing Principle

The preconditioned sample is clamped between upper and lower cells. One side is exposed to oxygen or nitrogen with stable relative humidity, while the other side is flushed with high-purity nitrogen. Oxygen or water vapor molecules diffuse through the sample into the nitrogen stream and are detected by sensors. The sensor data is used to calculate oxygen or water vapor permeability.
