Throughout the leather processing stages (acid-alkali treatment, stretching, rubbing, fat liquoring, tanning, and finishing), the size, uniformity, and quantity of these spaces are affected. This directly impacts the leather's breathability. Here's where the air permeability test comes in. This specific test focuses on leather used for garments. The testing method adheres to the standard QB/T 2799-2006, which utilizes the differential pressure method to assess air permeability. The instrument used in this test is the TQD-G1A Air Permeability Tester, designed by Labthink Instruments Co., Ltd. This instrument boasts two test modes with varying control factors, fixed pressure difference and fixed air flow rate mode, it can assess car interior materials (polyurethane, PVC, textiles, nonwovens), textiles (cloth, nonwovens), porous polymer materials (sponges), paper materials (tissue, toilet paper).
