Test Principle
The instrument measures the energy consumed by a hemispheric impact head to rupture films under specific conditions, adhering to standards such as GB 8809-88, ASTM D3420, and NF T54-116.

Applications

Basic Applications: Suitable for plastic films, sheets, and composite films like PE/PP, aluminized films, and nylon films used in food or drug packaging.
Extended Applications: Can test paper and paperboard, including aluminized paper for cigarette packages and Tetra Pak materials, with an extended test range up to 5J.
