i-Leaktek 6600 Leak and Seal Strength Tester---Aerosol Valve Test Scope i-Leaktek 6600 Leak and Seal Strength Tester is designed for determination of seal strength and seal performance test of various heat sealed flexible package and sterilized package, seal performance test of pilfer-proof closures, quantitative testing of leak characteristics, compression resistance, capsule disengaging strength, cap body joint strength, seal-edge seal strength and butting strength of flexible tubes, and testing of anti-compression, seal performance and burst resistance of the bottles. The standard dimension of the aerosol valves to be tested is φ 25.4 and φ 20. Test Procedures A: Power the instrument on and warm up for at least 30 minutes. Fill the bucket with clean tap water. The level of the water should be lower than the nick. Mount the specimen to the testing plate and turn the lock sheath clockwise to tighten it and then immerse the specimen into the water.

B: Select Creep Test in parameter setting and set pressure, time, amend value and amplitude. Then press “Set” to save the settings and click “Start Test” key to start the test. Press the actuator down and observe if there are any air bubbles coming out of the pipe of the actuator. Maintain the pressure for 1 minute and observe the bubbles. C: View test curve and test report. Continue to perform tests by repeating above procedures if necessary.
