Production of materials testing equipment and automation Product information Laser extensometers LE-05, LE-15 Application Laser extensometers are designed for accurate non-contact measurement of elongation. They use a fast laser sensor for measuring the elongation between the reflective strips placed on the specimen. The measuring range is 8-127 mm for LE-05 and 8-380 mm for LE-15. The high resolution of the extensometer enables accurate measurement even for small stretch, stretching of the current value is displayed on the screen. Its value can be reset anytime during the measurement cycle by the reset button. The extensometer can be connected to existing measurement systems using analog output 0-10 V or digital RS232 serial output. Visible scanning beam oriented in a vertical plane is simply directed to a specimen on which reflective strips are placed (4 meters are included) in the desired initial clamping length. As an option you can use reflective clips, which are simply attached to the specimen and allow reuse. For temperatures higher than 425 ° C, an informal method of measurement can be used, which reflects the entire beam from the reflective tape placed outside the high temperatures and clips on the specific specimen length overshadow it.
