DIAPHRAGM SEALS USE AND FUNCTION Many pressure measurement tasks can be performed only with the help of diaphragm seals. Their use also improves the performance of processes and systems and contributes to an increased lifespan of the measurement equipment while reducing assembly and maintenance costs. The diaphragm seals from LABOM are perfectly suited for use with our pressure gauges, but they can also be used with gauges from other manufacturers.

FUNCTION Diaphragm seals are partitions in pressure measuring instruments which prevent the measured media from entering the measuring system. This allows them to protect the gauges from aggressive, highly viscous or solidifying measurement media as well as from high media temperatures, enabling the connection of the instruments to hygienic processes and the reduction of measurement pressure fluctuations and pressure spikes.
