Lo-Dew Generator

Lo-Dew Generator

Lo-Dew Generator

Product catalog summary
Main Features:
  • Cost-effective operation
  • High efficiency
  • No soot production
  • High-quality atmosphere
  • Low dew point
  • Atmosphere composition: 17% CO, 20% H2, 63% N2
General Purpose:

The Lo-Dew Endogas Generator is designed to produce an endothermic atmosphere suitable for processes such as hardening, tempering, carburizing, and carbonitriding of steels. It utilizes a two-circuit system where the combustion products from the primary circuit are recovered, washed, and combined with methane in the secondary circuit to facilitate catalyzed reactions.

Technical Advantages:
  • Separation of exothermic and endothermic reactions ensures stable operation and temperature control.
  • Produces gas with a low dew point, enhancing carbon potential without soot formation.
  • Generates an inert atmosphere of CO2 and N2 for steel protection and furnace washing.
  • Efficiency: Approximately 5.2 cubic meters of atmosphere produced per cubic meter of methane consumed.

Lo-Dew Generator-3

Heat Treatment Furnaces and Computer Solutions for Heat Treatment In the Lo-Dew Generator the combustion products of the heating system (primary circuit) are recovered, washed and introduced, with the addition of methane, in the secondary circuit where catalyzed reactions took place. There is a total separation of the exothermic reaction of combustion outside the retorts while inside of the retort there is only an endothermic reaction. This above involves a remarkable driving stability and temperature of the Lo-Dew Generator despite of the traditional Endo Generator. It is in fact well known...
