Heating Blanket for blade tips Kuhlmann Electro-Heat A/S heating blankets for tips, are specially designed for curing the leading and trailing tip of wind turbine blades. These heating blankets operate at a stable temperature of approximately 60º or 80º C, when mounted correctly on the blade tip. Once the tip have been cured, ground and polished, it is possible to carry out any required procedures with no risk of grinding non-cured materiale and thus releasing hazardous substances into the atmosphere. Heating blankets and mats can be designed in different sizes and power configurations to comply with customer specifications.
