Heaters are produced using af hollow- casting ceramic process and are f illed with thermal insulation material. Thia improves the radiant power output to the material to be heated. Fur thermore there is a signif icant re duc tion in heat dissipate d in the wiring space, so that the addi tional insulation of the heating area is usually not re quire d. Comp are d with IR heater s which are pro duce d by using f ullp oure d cas ting pro cesses. H eater s have a considerably re duce d heating - up time and, dep ending on the t y p e of application enable energ y s avings of up to 25% . Els tein high temp erature heater s are available in four designs and cover the p ower range f rom 6 0 W to 10 0 0 W.
