General Information
The Congrav® OP16-E is an operator interface designed for use with up to 16 Brabender Technologie gravimetric feeders. It connects to Congrav® CB-E, CB-S, or CM-E controllers via a serial bus link and features a 15" color touch screen for configuration, control, and diagnostics. The device is compatible with all Brabender Technologie devices equipped with the specified control modules and meets CE directives and electromagnetic immunity standards.

Interfaces
The OP16-E connects to feeders using an RS 485 interface and supports communication with host systems via Ethernet Modbus TCP, with an optional Profibus DP. It also supports digital and analog expansion modules for additional I/O capabilities.

Optional Expansion Modules
Expansion modules can be connected via the Ethernet interface. The digital I/O module includes 4 digital inputs and outputs, while the analog I/O module provides 2 analog inputs and outputs.

Technical Specifications
The device operates at a rated voltage of DC 24V, with a residual ripple and spikes under specified limits. It functions within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to +50°C and up to 85% humidity without condensation. The touch-screen display is a 15" LCD with LED backlight, housed in an aluminum casing with a weight of approximately 5.8 kg. The enclosure rating is IP65 for the display and IP20 overall.

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
The OP16-E complies with various EMC standards, including ESD (EN 61000-4-2), HF radiation (EN 61000-4-3), burst (EN 61000-4-4), surge (EN 61000-4-5), inflow (EN 61000-4-6), and interference voltage (CISPR 16 / EN 55011 Class A).
