Technical Specifications
The document provides technical specifications for the ETH series electronic sounders by Kroma mec S.r.l. These sounders are designed for environments requiring alarm systems, particularly where there is a risk of explosive atmospheres. The sounders are ATEX certified according to the EN60079 standard.
Voltage and Current
The sounders operate at various voltages: 24VAC/DC, 115VAC, 115VDC, 230VAC, 48VAC, and 48VDC, with a rated current of 0.450A at 24V AC/DC.
Temperature and Color
They are suitable for working temperatures ranging from -20°C (-40°C) to +60°C, depending on the T-rating (T5 or T6). The standard color is epoxy coating red RAL3000, with other colors available upon request.
Sound Power and Distribution
The sound power levels are 109/112 dB at 1 meter and 99/102 dB at 3 meters. The document includes a polar diagram for outdoor loudness distribution.
Features and Materials
The sounders are multi-functional, offering five selectable tones for different warning scenarios, including fire evacuation. They are constructed from low copper content aluminum alloy, with an electronic modular circuit and resonance unit. The sound is amplified by an external exponential aluminum trumpet.
Available Sounds
The sounders offer five-tone options, including two-tone (550Hz/0.1sec + 440Hz/0.4sec), monotonous (550Hz), yelp, wail, and periodic intermittence (550Hz 1s ON / 1s OFF).
Protection and Mounting
The sounders have an IP66 protection rating and are mounted using a stainless steel 316 bracket. They are designed for continuous service.
Explosion Proof Ratings
The sounders are explosion-proof, suitable for zones 1, 2, and 22, and comply with Directive 2014/34/UE. They have temperature ratings of T5 (up to 100°C) and T6 (up to 85°C).
Accessories and Coating
Accessories are available upon request, and the sounders can be coated in various colors, including yellow, blue, grey, and black.
