2 DEVICE DESCRIPTION 2.2 Device description Electromagnetic flowmeters are designed exclusively to measure the flow and conductivity of electrically conductive, liquid media. Your measuring device is supplied ready for operation. The factory settings for the operating data have been made in accordance with your order specifications. The following versions are available: • Compact version (the signal converter is mounted directly on the flow sensor) • Remote version (electrical connection to the flow sensor via field current and signal cable) Flow sensor
