AUTOMATIC BOOKLET FEEDER Application An automatic booklet feed has been developed especially for fast-running cartoning machines. With the special concept, a high degree of autonomy is also established for fast-running cartoning machines with thick booklets. The booklets are placed in the cardboard tray on the infeed belt, the trays are opened and automatically emptied via an additionally developed mechanism. The booklets are then guided and transferred to the separating area of the friction feeder. Direct infeed into the cartoning machine is possible via the adapted outfeed extension. Advantage The special design establishes a high degree of autonomy with a high speed. The angleadjustable infeed belt ensures that ergonomic filling is also guaranteed for operators of varying heights. The feed belt is connected with the feeder and its self-supporting structure also guarantees access to the cartoning machine underneath the booklet feeder. Removal of the empty trays also takes place automatically, meaning that the operator is only required to place filled trays on the infeed belt. The belt can also be adjusted depending on customer needs and autonomy requirements.
