HPRS resistors are intrinsically safe and short circuit-proof resistors for the operation in frequency converters. Due to their compact shape, further possibilities of application are possible. The best results are reached when the resistors can be mounted directly on a dissipator. Their form and design guarantee the maximal produce of the active material to reach an increased impulse stability as well as a high nominal permanent power at the same time. All materials are incombustible. The winding wire is in a water-proof cement core which furthermore reaches a high thermal conductivity and a high insulation. Bei der Reihe der HPRS-Widerstande handelt es sich um Hochlastdraht-widerstande in einem Aluminium-gehause. HPRS-Widerstande sind eigensichere und kurzschlussfeste Widerstande fur den Betrieb an Frequenzumrichtern (FU). Durch ihre kompakte Bauform sind jedoch auch weitere Anwendungsmoglichkeiten gegeben. Die besten Ergebnisse werden erzielt, wenn die Widerstande direkt auf einen Kuhlkorper montiert werden konnen. Ihre Form und Konstruktion garantieren die maximale Nutzung des aktiven Materials, um eine erhohte Impulsfestigkeit sowie gleichzeitig eine hohe Nenndauerleistung zu erzielen. Alle Materialien sind feuerfest. Der Wickeldraht befindet sich in einem wasserfesten Zementkern, der zudem noch eine hohe thermische Leitfahigkeit und sehr gute Isolierung erzielt.
