Specifications:

The Surseat Minis are equipped with collets for 3/16” and 1/4” tubing.

Procedures:

For the P-45 model, screw the fitting into the appropriate collet size: 3/16” collet for 3/16” tube and 1/4” collet for 1/4” tube.
For the P-37 model, clamp the correct size collet around the tube.
Ensure the locking spring is in the open position before inserting the collet into the Surseat’s hex cavity.
Secure the collet by sliding the locking spring into the closed position.
Spray WD-40 or an equivalent lubricant on the lapping head before use.
Rotate the lapping head back and forth in the flare until a clean seat is formed. Avoid excessive lapping.

Recommendations:

Use only the necessary amount of lapping to achieve a clean seat.
