Introduction
This document provides instructions for using the EZ-ON Hose Press, including safety precautions, operating tips, and specific procedures for clamping hoses.

Safety Precautions
- Stop immediately if the hose clamp carriage hits the stops to prevent machine damage.
- Avoid running the carriage all the way against the back stops.

Lubrication
- Lubricate the lead screw and threads on vise wheels with light oil before first use and routinely thereafter for optimal performance.

Using the Vise
- For angled fittings, use pinned plastic inserts.
- Extended jaws are for -4, -6, and -8 hose sizes; short jaws are for -10, -12, and -16.
- Use a ratchet and 17 mm socket to tighten the hose if necessary.

Clamping the Hose
- For straight fittings, use round inserts.
- If the hose interferes with installation, reverse the hose carriage and vise to free up space around the drive screw.
- Use a ratchet and 17 mm socket to clamp the hose tighter if needed.

Operating Tips
- Lubricate the barb for easier installation if necessary.
- If angled fittings point upward when clamped, guide the hose onto the barb with your free hand to keep it level.
- If the fitting still points upward, remove the plastic inserts and guide the hose manually.
