Product Specifications
KOREMA® expansion joints are designed to absorb movement in all directions, thanks to the development of synthetic fibers. The document details two main types of expansion joints:
  • KOREMA® U Type: This is the most commonly installed version, suitable for flanging between pipelines and duct ends.
  • KOREMA® Standard Belt Type: Preferred for large diameter ducts and steel constructions, with options for additional insulation to enhance thermal and acoustic properties.

Innovative Materials
KOREMA® has introduced patented materials such as SIMIFLON® and ELTROFLON®, which combine fabric, rubber, and PTFE for flexibility, excellent sealing, and temperature resistance. These materials are certified for foodstuff quality by the FDA and EU regulations, with ELTROFLON® also offering superior electrical conductivity.

Applications and Compliance
The expansion joints are suitable for various industries, including pharmaceuticals and flue gas systems. They comply with ATEX guidelines for explosive media and meet the standards for pressurized devices.
