KONCAR-Institute-Expert Motor Condition Monitoring KONCAR EMCM

Product catalog summary
Overview
The document outlines the features and applications of the Expert Motor Condition Monitoring (EMCM) system developed by KONČAR – Electrical Engineering Institute Inc. This system is designed for the continuous monitoring and fault detection of induction motors, enhancing their reliability and lifespan across various industries.

Specifications
The EMCM system is a comprehensive online monitoring solution for both low and high voltage induction motors. It supports motors with squirrel cage and cast cage rotors and is modular, allowing upgrades for both new and existing motors. Key features include long-term data storage, event tracking, and local and remote access via a web server.

Application Industries
The EMCM system is applicable in industries such as cement, marine, water and wastewater, mining, and oil & gas. It helps eliminate unexpected failures, optimize maintenance schedules, and extend periods between overhauls.

Target Users
The system benefits motor producers, site operators, and system integrators by providing a robust, compact measurement box (CMB) that can be used directly at the machine, eliminating the need for control cabinets.

Software and Services
The EMCM system includes a multiuser web server for remote access and data visualization. Services offered include consulting, installation, commissioning, staff training, and expert interpretation of monitoring results.

EMCM Versions
Two main versions of the EMCM system are available: Version V1, suitable for smaller machines with basic software capabilities, and Version V2, ideal for larger machines with advanced features like FFT analysis and automated report generation.

Technical Specifications
The system supports various sensors for measuring vibration, temperature, current, magnetic fields, and more. It features robust communication protocols, power supply options, and complies with multiple standards for EMC immunity and vibration resistance.

Documentation
Comprehensive documentation is provided for system installation, maintenance, and usage, including mechanical and electrical documentation, user instructions, and certificates.

Conclusion
The EMCM system by KONČAR offers a sophisticated solution for motor condition monitoring, providing significant benefits in terms of maintenance efficiency, fault detection, and operational optimization.
