Working Environment Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filter (KDPF ) Komatsu has developed a high efficiency diesel particulate filter that captures more than 90% of particulate matter. Both passive and active regeneration are automatically initiated by the engine controller depending on the soot level of the KDPF.
