General Specifications
The 44XT Blasthole Drill is designed for drilling operations with a hole size range of 114 mm to 216 mm (4.5 in to 8.5 in). It supports hammers from 102 mm to 203 mm (4.0 in to 8.0 in) and drill pipes from 102 mm to 140 mm (4.0 in to 5.5 in).

Boom and Mast
The boom provides a pull-down force of 53.4 kN (12,000 lbs) and a pull-back force of 71.2 kN (16,000 lbs). It allows for a single pass depth of 6.1 m plus drill string (20 ft) and a maximum depth of 42.7 m (140 ft). The boom can swing 10° left and 18° right, with a tilt range from 10° below to 35° above horizontal. The mast can dump from +16° to -45° from vertical and rotate with two pins for flexible positioning.

Rotary Head and Pipe Handling
The rotary head operates at speeds from 0 to 99 rpm with a torque of 7.5 kN-m (5,539 lbf-ft). The carousel can handle 6 + 1 pipes for diameters less than 114 mm and 4 + 1 for larger diameters.

Air System
The air compressor is a Sullair 20/12 (1150) with HP mode delivering 32.9 cu.m/min at 34.5 bar and LP mode delivering 38.5 cu.m/min at 24.2 bar.

Lower Works and Propel
The drill features a travel auto 2-speed system with a maximum speed of 3 kph (1.8 mph), oscillation of ±8°, and a traction force of 222.4 kN (50,000 lbs). It has a ground clearance of 381 mm (15 in) and a gradeability of 30% (17°).

Dimensions and Electrical
The operating weight is 38,555 kg (85,000 lbs) with an operating height of 11.6 m (37 ft 11 in). The electrical system is 24 Volt with an electro-hydraulic control system.

General Features
The cab is FOPS certified with a noise level below 80dBA, controlled by a CANbus joystick. It includes heating and cooling capacities, a pressurized cabin, and various machine features for operational efficiency.

Options and Maintenance
Optional features include an Arctic package, dust collector, and rear stabilizer. The fuel capacity is 1022 L (270 gal), with additional tank capacities for hydraulic and water systems.
