Systems Technical Publication Kollmorgen RBE Motors with Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR™ S Series Amplifier The Kollmorgen RBE brushless, frameless motor series provides optimum system performance in direct drive applications where the motor is integrated into a machine. The RBE series uses rare-earth magnets to achieve very high continuous and peak ratings. A wide range of frame sizes is available which allow for large diameter holes through the rotors. When combined with the Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR digital amplifier, the system becomes an easy to set up, high performance motion control system.
