TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS PRESSURE/VACUUM TRUCK WITH SCRUBBER The KOKS EcoVac RDR pressure/vacuum truck with scrubber is designed for (heavy) industrial applications and is suitable for suctioning, discharging and transporting fluid and hazardous substances, such as liquids, sludge, fats, oils, fuels and chemicals. Specially developed for working with hazardous and contaminated substances, the truck is available in PED or ADR (Ceoc)/ATEX (Ex) versions and built in accordance with all applicable safety standards. USAGE The KOKS EcoVac RDR pressure/vacuum truck is perfect for day-to-day suction, discharge and transportation activities, general industrial cleaning or for use in the (petro)chemical industry and in refineries. The cleaning principle of the scrubbing equipment on the KOKS EcoVac RDR operates based on a 10-phase system where the outgoing air from the vacuum pump is transported successively through a cleaning fluid (such as mineral oil, lye or demineralised water), a honeycomb grid, Raschig rings, an atomisation system and a labyrinth separation system. After passing through the 10-phases, any vapours or gases have been thoroughly scrubbed. Depending on the vapours/ gases to be cleaned, the cleaning phases may consist of the same or different cleaning agents. In addition to reducing harmful emissions, the scrubbing equipment is also used to reduce odour nuisance. The combination of the powerful liquid ring vacuum pump and the scrubber equipment allows large quantities of (fluid) substances to be processed in a short time and then transported in accordance with current ADR (Ceoc) regulations. The result for the user is significant time-saving, a huge cost reduction and reduction of the harmful emissions produced during suctioning and discharging activities down to the legally permitted return vapour level that is acceptable for people and the environment. VERSIONS The KOKS EcoVac RDR pressure/vacuum truck can be fitted with various option kits that are appropriate for your needs, for industrial applications and/or sewer cleaning work. 12 - KOKS Group - 01/2014 - Industrial cleaning equipment • Easy control. • Ergonomic. • Built to the latest environmental and safety standards. • Approved in accordance with PED or ADR (Ceoc) European type-approval. • Responsible transportation in accordance with ADR (Ceoc) regulations (also with full gas washing tanks). • Powerful suction force. • Optimum balance between a chassis with a short wheelbase and maximum tank capacity. • Solid construction and components for high power and maximum payload. • Reduction in harmful emissions during suctioning and discharging activities down to the legally permitted return vapour level that is acceptable for people and the environment. • High quality, long service life and economical purchase price.
