POWER AND PERFORMANCE REDEFINE THE BOUNDARIES 1 The highest quality blister The CP500 RX and TX models are equipped with a fast-cycle die-cutter. The cutting tool is compact and can be removed easily from the front. Prior to cutting, the blisters are positioned precisely in the machine operating direction. The workstations adjust their position automatically as the system is running. Control of registration marks is reliably guaranteed, with minimal loss rates, even with hard/ paper-coated lidding foils. The RX and TX leave no ladder of web after cutting out the blisters. CP500 RX-P1600 deep-draw blister packaging line 2 Power means reserves of performance in forming and sealing With sealing forces up to 160 kN in the forming and sealing stations, the CP500 has impressive performance in reserve for the production of alu-alu or thermoformed blisters featuring the most challenging geometries. In addition, the loop-free foil guide allows low-loss travel under controlled pressure, in conjunction with hard, non-stretch lidding foils. 3 Products are handled accurately and with care The Pick & Place solutions for inserting highquality products can be adapted quickly and flexibly to package various products, such as syringes, vials and ampoules. Also available on request with inline link. 4 User-friendly Foil carriers push in from the front, for fast, user-friendly roll changes. In addition, all quality assurance systems are fully integrated into the user guidance system for Mediseal lines. Parameters which depend on the format and product are loaded automatically after changeovers. 5 Fast format changes When the machine stops, the header plate of the sealing station automatically pivots up 50°. The station is readily accessible. Format parts can be changed quickly and without any tools. 6 Easy and intuitive The KIVI visualisation platform combines all process and format parameters on the operator terminal, providing a central access point. The function-based menu structure ensures easy, intuitive operation. Help menu texts at all levels of operation provide user-friendly guidance. 7 Flexible high performance The modular construction provides for integration of Mediseal’s BIB-BOB unit. The BIB-BOB unit enables individual batches of blisters to be packaged in bulk, e. g. for hospital packs. The active handling ensures safe and gentle handling of high-quality parenterals at every transfer point.
