The new Type-10 lightweight frame features various remarkable properties. Just 680 grams on the scale The new lightweight model made of aluminium hollow profiles extends the comprehensive frame range and offers many convincing benefits. The major benefit is the light weight of the new frame. It is more than 50% lighter than a comparable solid casting model. It was developed particularly in view of global transport distances and the associated logistics costs – which are substantially reduced by the significantly lower weight. This was one of the key points behind its development and design. Apart from its weight, the new flyweight does not differ from the tried-and-tested die-casting frames.
