Product Description
SUPER-COR® XL PLUS Modules are designed for ultrafiltration and microfiltration in juice processing. They feature membranes made from PVDF (HFM-180 and HFM-513) or polyethersulfone (MFK-617), configured with thirty-seven ½” diameter tubules in a polysulfone shell. These modules conform to FDA regulations (CFR Title 21) and are available in different options for light, all, and dark juices.

All models (HFM-180, HFM-513, MFK-617) have a membrane area of 54.7 ft² (5.1 m²). Part numbers are 0712310, 0712370, and 0712304 respectively.

Operating and Design Information
Maximum operating pressure is 90 psi at 120°F (6.2 bar at 49°C), with a minimum outlet pressure of 10 psi (0.7 bar). The maximum permeate pressure is 3 psi (0.2 bar). The typical feed side pressure drop per module is 4-6 psi (0.27-0.40 bar), with a maximum of 6 psi at 120°F (0.4 bar at 49°C). The allowable pH range at 120°F is 2.0 – 10.0 continuously and 1.5 – 10.5 short term. Maximum chlorine for cleaning is 200 ppm at pH 10-10.5, 120°F (49°C).
